Shipping policy

At Citrus Cattle Co., we take every step to ensure that your beef arrives at your door in perfect condition. Because we are shipping perishable items, special care is required to maintain the freshness and quality of our products.

Shipping Process:

  • Frozen Packaging: All beef is carefully packed and shipped frozen to preserve its quality. We use insulated packaging and dry ice to ensure that your order remains frozen during transit.
  • Shipping Days: Orders are shipped Monday through Wednesday to ensure your package arrives before the weekend, preventing extended time in transit. Orders placed after Wednesday will be shipped the following Monday to guarantee freshness.
  • Delivery Locations: We currently ship to physical addresses within California, Arizona, Oregon, Nevada, New Mexico, Washington, Utah. If you are unsure whether we can deliver to your area, please contact us before placing your order.

Shipping Costs:

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and depend on the size of your order and your delivery location.

Delivery Time:

Most shipments arrive within 1–3 business days after leaving our freezer. We will send you a tracking number once your order has shipped so you can monitor its progress.

Receiving Your Order:

  • Please ensure that someone is available to receive your delivery, or plan to bring the package inside promptly after delivery.
  • It is important to unpack and transfer your products to a freezer as soon as possible to maintain their quality.

Thawing During Shipping:

While we take all precautions to ship your beef frozen, occasional minor thawing may occur due to factors like shipping inconsistencies and weather conditions. If your beef arrives partially thawed, it is perfectly safe to either place it directly in the freezer or continue thawing for immediate consumption.

If shipping arrangements have been made with the customer, and the delivery is not received and handled in a timely manner, resulting in the beef becoming fully thawed, Citrus Cattle Co. is not liable for the product.

Quality Concerns:

In the rare event that the package arrives damaged or you have concerns about the condition of your beef, please contact us immediately at Derek@CitrusCattleCompany.com (559) 364-6121. We will work with you to resolve the issue.
